Three accused of embezzling money from SVO fighters in Sheremetyevo were put on the wanted list.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has put on the international wanted list three defendants in a criminal case of embezzlement of funds from participants in a special military operation at Sheremetyevo Airport. This was reported on October 9 by Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Three defendants in the case have been put on the international criminal wanted list," a law enforcement official told TASS.

They were charged in absentia with participating in an organized criminal community, embezzlement and extortion. At the request of the investigation, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention in absentia.

Earlier, on October 7, it became known that a criminal group accused of stealing money from military personnel of a special military operation (SVO) at Sheremetyevo Airport had been arrested. It was noted that earlier about 15 participants were recorded in the case file.
