In Russia, there was a failure in the electronic PTS system
On the territory of Russia, a malfunction was recorded in the system of electronic vehicle passports (EPTS), as a result of which the owners of cars canceled the EPTS. This was announced on October 8 by Dmitry Klataevsky, CEO of Japan Transit.
"Today [October 8] such a problem has arisen. The failure occurred, as far as I understand, in the electronic passport system. They even canceled the passports of cars that are already registered," he said in an interview with RBC.
According to him, this incident is not related to errors in filling out documents and is a technical malfunction. He also noted that regional testing laboratories had to wait for the start of the working day in Moscow in order to find out the details of what had happened.
