MB Rus distribution company has postponed the Russian debut of the Aito M9 full-size hybrid crossover. On October 8, the Chinese Cars portal announced this in its Telegram channel.

As explained in the company's press service, there is an increased demand for this model in China, and the manufacturing plant's capacities are now aimed specifically at the Chinese domestic market.

MB Rus announced the acceptance of pre-orders for the Aito M9 back in September 2024. Initially, the model's debut in Russia was scheduled for the end of that year, but it was postponed to the first quarter of 2025, but sales did not begin.

The length of the Aito M9 is 5230 mm, the crossover is equipped with a sequential hybrid powerplant that develops 496 hp (675 Nm) and accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The power reserve on a full battery charge and a full tank exceeds 1300 km (according to the CLTC standard). The car is equipped with an all-wheel drive system and an air suspension with adaptive stiffness control. It was announced that the M9 will receive adaptations in the Russian market, including Russification of the menu.

Earlier, on September 10, it was reported that the Avtotor plant in the Kaliningrad region may begin production of Aito Seres cars. The brand's lineup now includes the M5 hybrid cross-coupe and the M7 crossover.
