More than 300 houses and social institutions located in Chita were left without water supply due to a water supply accident in the area. This was announced on October 8 by the press service of the city organization.

"The elimination of the consequences of the emergency situation on the water supply in the area of the intersection of Frunze and Smolenskaya streets continues. <...> There is no water in 288 apartment buildings and 37 social facilities," the agency said in a Telegram channel.

It is noted that as a result of the incident, the delivery of water to medical institutions was organized. According to the information provided, the end of the repair work is scheduled for the period from 12:00 to 13:00 local time (from 06:00 to 07:00 Moscow time).
