Volunteers have traveled more than 515 km in the search for a missing family near Krasnoyarsk.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, more than 515 km of forest roads and 40 square kilometers of woodlands were explored during the search for the missing family. This was announced on October 8 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"The results of the search operations for the day. In total, 40 square kilometers of forest and 515 km of forest roads were surveyed by ground groups during search and rescue operations," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

It is specified that the airmobile group surveyed 10 square kilometers of forest, and police officers surveyed another 20 square kilometers. The volunteers, in turn, surveyed 10 square kilometers and passed 515.5 km of forest roads. In addition, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the volunteers carried out an hour-long raid.

According to the press service, new search and rescue operations are scheduled for October 8. It is planned to inspect the approaches to the rock formations of Pinocchio and Malvinka.

The search for the Usoltsev family in a wooded area near the Minsk Loop was reported on October 2. The family was moving towards Mount Pinocchio, but after five days of no contact with their relatives, their whereabouts were not found out. However, the family's car was found soon after.
