In Israel, relatives of the victims of the attack by members of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas came to commemorate the victims on the anniversary of the tragedy. This was announced on October 7 by Nikita Kulyukhin, a correspondent for Izvestia.

He recalled that on October 7, 2023, militants broke into the Supernova music festival, held in the south of the country. As a result of the actions of the Palestinian movement, 383 people were killed, dozens were abducted and injured. Two years later, the families of the victims gathered at the place where the event was held.

"Now <...> the families of the victims are here, who have come to salute, [honor] the memory of all those who died," Kulyukhin said.

On October 7, 2023, the territory of Israel was subjected to massive rocket fire from the Gaza Strip. The militants also invaded the border areas in the south of the country.
