Fog with a visibility of 100-600 m is expected in the Moscow region from Monday evening (October 6) to Tuesday morning (October 7). This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Moscow region on October 6.
"In the next hour, fog with a visibility of 100-600 m is expected in some places in the Moscow Region, with retention until 10:00 on October 7," the Moscow City News agency quoted the message.
The agency recommended that drivers turn on their fog lights, keep an increased distance, avoid sudden maneuvers, and pedestrians should be careful when crossing the road, and if possible, use reflective elements on their clothes.
The "yellow" level of weather danger due to fog was announced in the Moscow region from 21:00 on October 6 to 09:00 on October 7, writes Moscow 24.
In turn, Alexander Ilyin, a forecaster at the Meteo forecasting center, told RT that fogs will become quite common in the metropolitan region this week.
