One of the activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) detained by Israel bit a medical worker when she accompanied her after a routine checkup in prison. This was reported on October 5 by the Israeli state television and radio company Kan.

"An employee of the prison suffered minor injuries, and she received medical attention on the spot, and the police were called to detain the attacker," the publication says.

It is specified that the incident occurred in the Ketsiot prison. The pro-Palestinian flotilla activists are expected to be released and deported from Israel tomorrow. The girl who bit the employee is a Spanish citizen.

On October 1, it was reported that the Israeli military had boarded the flotilla ships. After the incident, Colombia immediately denounced the free trade agreement with Israel.

On October 4, Swedish eco-activist Greta Thunberg, who was part of the flotilla, complained that she was faced with a violation of the normal conditions of detention in a detention cell. So, the detainee said that she was provided with insufficient water and food. The next day, the Israeli Foreign Ministry called the reports of mistreatment of Thunberg a blatant lie.
