A new scheme of scammers with an account on marketplaces has become known

Scammers have developed a new scheme in which they try to gain access to other people's accounts on marketplaces. It became known about her on Monday, October 6.

As a first step, the attacker contacts the victim and informs them about the allegedly arrived package. After saying that the person is not waiting for any order, the scammer offers to check it and dictate the code from the SMS.

"With the code, the scammer can log into the victim's account on the marketplace and gain access to her banking data," RIA Novosti reports.
