Sergey Pudovkin, director of the People's Artist Larisa Dolina, announced his intention to sue entrepreneurs who illegally use the singer's image to sell life-size figures on marketplaces. The sale of the artist's images is conducted without any coordination with her or her representatives, he told Izvestia on October 5.

"The interests of the artist must be protected. This is an obvious violation of the law — no one coordinated the sale with anyone," Pudovkin stressed.

He added that he plans to purchase several life-size figures in order to collect evidence and go to court.

Pudovkin noted that entrepreneurs could legally negotiate the production of such products, but decided to use the name Dolina without permission.

Earlier, on July 11, it was reported that the prosecutor's office of the Central Administrative District of Moscow had approved charges in the Dolina apartment fraud case. Four defendants will appear in court charged with embezzlement of more than 175 million rubles and deprivation of the artist's right to housing. The total damage is estimated at over 317 million rubles. The case was sent to the Meshchansky District Court of the capital.

On September 24, the court in Yoshkar-Ola recovered 14.9 million rubles from a resident of Kazan in favor of the singer. The funds were withdrawn from the accounts by Dolina through the woman's bank card, which she handed over to the attackers. The total amount of damage in the case is estimated at about 54 million rubles.
