Two people died in an accident in Mari El

A fatal accident occurred on 14 km of the Marie-Turek–Marie-Bilamor highway. The driver of a Renault Kaptur car drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a Lada Granta. As a result of the accident, both drivers died from their injuries, the Mari El State Traffic Inspectorate reported on October 4.

Two Lada passengers, including one minor, were injured and were taken for medical treatment.

"Traffic police officers are working at the scene, all the circumstances of the accident are being established," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

Earlier it was reported that an accident involving an ambulance and a Hyundai passenger car occurred on 229 km of the M-9 Baltia highway in the Tver region. As a result of the accident, five people were injured and received medical assistance. The message was received on October 4.
