Trump intends to arrive in the Republic of Korea at the end of October.
US President Donald Trump may arrive in the Republic of Korea on October 29, but he most likely will not stay for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which begins on October 31. This was announced on October 4 by the Seoul.co portal.
"US President Donald Trump will visit the Republic of Korea on the 29th. However, it is predicted that he is unlikely to stay until the main event of the APEC summit," the publication says.
It is noted that the trip is planned after the visit of the American leader to Japan and the summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which will be held from October 26 to 28 in Malaysia.
Earlier, on October 1, Trump said that in about a month he would have a meeting with the leader of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping. The politicians intend to make a decision on the ongoing negotiations on a trade deal between the two countries.
