- Major Andrey Bulimov evacuated the crew of an infantry fighting vehicle shot down by Ukrainian drones.
Major Andrey Bulimov organized the evacuation of wounded soldiers and damaged equipment from the line of contact. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Saturday, October 4.
In one of the battles, a Russian infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) was hit by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The equipment has lost the ability to move. Bulimov, having received information about this, moved to the place, despite the ongoing shelling from the enemy. He helped the crew of the infantry fighting vehicle to evacuate to a safe place, and then moved the equipment from the battlefield with the help of a tractor.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the decisive actions of junior Sergeant Nikolai Kondakov, who served as the gunner-operator of the T-72 tank when the combat vehicle was attacked by Ukrainian fpv drones.
Kondakov began to maneuver skillfully, leading the tank away from the blows, and also contacted the gunners and requested fire support. During the beginning of the battle, the soldier noticed the position of the calculation of anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) APU. Without waiting for the command, Kondakov opened direct fire and destroyed the target.
Earlier, on October 3, the Russian Defense Ministry told how Private Renat Dautov, as part of an artillery battery, provided fire support to Russian units when the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened artillery fire.
