Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at a cinema building in Kakhovka, Kherson region

In the city of Kakhovka, Kherson region, a cinema building was seriously damaged after shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on October 3 by the head of the district Pavel Filipchuk.

"The Nazis from the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to terrorize the civilian population. The local cinema in Kakhovka was shelled. <...> The damage is serious," the head said in his Telegram channel.

Filipchuk added that no one was injured during the shelling. He also noted that victory is just around the corner, and the authorities will surely rebuild everything soon.

Prior to that, on October 1, the head of the Council of Deputies of the city of Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region, Vladimir Leontiev, was killed as a result of an attack by the Baba Yaga drone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The man, who was injured multiple times, was promptly taken to the hospital. Doctors fought for his life, but the patient could not be saved.
