An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 was registered in the Kamchatka Territory. The relevant information was published on October 3 on the official website of the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It is specified that the earthquake occurred 224 km south-east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and the epicenter was at a depth of 19.9 km.
