The most demanded professions among the veterans of the SVO are named
Socially significant professions such as law, management, psychology and robotics have become the most popular areas of study at the Center for Retraining Veterans of the Synergy University.
The choice of veterans reflects labor market trends, says Vadim Lobov, President of the Synergy Corporation. According to him, lawyers and managers are in demand in government and commercial structures. "For example, the Interior Ministry noted that the department lacks more than 170,000 employees. And the industry and the military-industrial complex need specialists in mechatronics and robotics," Lobov said.
Among the 10,000 students of the Center who study for free, 42% chose law. According to the survey, the demand for the direction is related to the desire of veterans to work in law enforcement agencies. State and municipal administration was chosen by 10% of the students. Interest in the specialty increased after Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed involving veterans of the Military education system in managerial work at the federal and municipal levels.
Other popular programs are management (7%) and psychology (4%). Among the technical areas, mechatronics and robotics are of particular interest — 4% of students master the specialty.
The Synergy University Veterans' Retraining Center was established in 2023 jointly with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. Veterans and their families apply to the regional offices of the foundation, where they are offered to study at Synergy. All levels of education are available: college, bachelor's degree, Master's degree, advanced training programs. Veterans can master public and municipal administration, law, entrepreneurship, engineering, information systems, sports management, graphic design, Internet marketing, psychology and other fields.
More than 10 thousand veterans of the SVO and their family members have already enrolled in training on a free basis. More than 800 veterans have completed professional retraining, and 600 more students will graduate this year. By 2027, the number of graduates will be 4.7 thousand people.
