The EU has extended sanctions against 47 individuals and 15 legal entities from Russia for one year.

The European Union (EU) countries have extended sanctions measures against Russia for a year, the EU Council said in a statement on October 3.

Thus, the restrictions imposed on the Russian Federation on October 8, 2024, have been extended until October 9, 2026. This measure includes the blocking of assets and a ban on entry to the EU for 47 individuals and 15 organizations.
