Billionaire Ibrahim Suleymanov was allegedly detained on suspicion of organizing the high-profile contract killing of former head of the Federal Financial Rehabilitation and Bankruptcy Service Georgy Tal in 2004. This was announced on October 3 by a source of Izvestia.
They tried to shoot Tal in the center of Moscow in April 2004. The man survived, he was taken to a hospital in the capital, but a few hours later he died of his injuries in intensive care. According to one version, the murder is connected with the intensification of criminal bankruptcy investigations.
