The court decided to destroy the "Satanic Bible" of a man who came from Estonia
A court in Pskov has decided to destroy the "Satanic Bible" (recognized as extremist in Russia and banned from distribution), which a Russian citizen tried to import into Russia from Estonia, according to court materials.
According to documents reviewed by RIA Novosti on October 3, customs officers found the book when checking the luggage of a man who was crossing the border between Estonia and Russia. Protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up against the citizen for non-declaration of goods and non-compliance with prohibitions and restrictions. The man explained that a friend had given him the book for his birthday, but he clarified that he was not a follower of this religion.
The court fined him 1,000 rubles and ruled that the book should be destroyed.
