Two residents of Kislovodsk were poisoned by carbon monoxide in the house

An adult and a teenager were poisoned by carbon monoxide in an apartment in Kislovodsk. The injured were hospitalized.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, a gas cylinder was independently installed in the house on Druzhby Street. The equipment was not officially registered.

The condition of the victims is assessed as stable. Employees of the mayor's office ask citizens to timely service the gas equipment and not install it themselves.

In the Krasnodar Territory, three employees of the gas service were found guilty of the death of a family of five people. The victims inhaled gas. It was established that the defendants had not detected any malfunctions during the inspection of the equipment in the house. At the same time, there was no automatic shut-off system in the boiler with insufficient draft and the chimney was damaged, which led to gas accumulation.
