Peskov noted Russia's support for Trump's peacekeeping efforts

Russia continues its special military operation (SVO), but remains open to negotiations and supports the relevant efforts of US President Donald Trump. However, the European side remains in anti-Russian hysteria and inclines Kiev to abandon the dialogue. This was announced to Izvestia on October 2 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"We remain open to resolving all our problems through negotiations and continue to support the peacekeeping efforts of the President of the United States. We think they are very important. But these peacekeeping efforts of the US president are actually crashing against the rock of this European militarism," he explained.

Peskov stressed that the European side is making every effort to escalate relations with the Russian Federation.
