In the Rostov region, the air defense forces repelled an aerial attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on October 2 by the head of the region, Yuri Slyusar, in the Telegram channel.

"The air defense forces repelled an enemy air attack at night, destroying and intercepting UAVs in Verkhnedonsky, Sholokhovsky, Millerovsky and Chertkovsky districts," he wrote.

According to Slyusar, no consequences have been recorded on earth. None of the people were injured.

A day earlier, as a result of a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the head of the Council of Deputies of Novaya Kakhovka, Vladimir Leontyev, was wounded.
