Hackers tried to hack into Russian Railways information systems 2.5 million times in 2025

During the eight months of 2025, hackers tried to hack into the information systems of Russian Railways 2.5 million times. This was announced on October 1 by the head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov at the Digital Transformation forum.

"In 8 months, they tried to hack us 2.5 million times, there were attacks on our information systems," Belozerov said, as quoted by TASS.

Earlier, on June 12, the Russian Railways website and mobile application were subjected to a DDoS attack.
