Wolves have mauled four children and an elderly couple in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This was reported on October 1 by the Hindustan Times.

"A wolf prowled in Mjara-Taukli in about a dozen nearby villages <...> Between September 9 and September 30, six people died in the area, including four children and an elderly couple," the article says.

In addition, at least 20 villagers were injured as a result of the wolf attack.
