Egypt, Qatar and Turkey are seeking to convince the radical Palestinian movement Hamas to accept the American plan to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip. This was announced on September 30 by the Axios portal.

According to information from two unnamed sources who are familiar with the negotiations, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, as well as the head of Egypt's General Intelligence Directorate Hassan Rashad, presented the terms of peace proposals for resolving the conflict in Gaza, which were developed by US President Donald Trump, to Hamas leaders in Doha.

"U.S. and Israeli officials expect that Hamas will generally respond positively to Trump's proposal, with some reservations," the publication said.

Earlier, on September 29, it was reported that Trump's full-fledged plan to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip was published on the White House's page on the social network X. The plan for a peaceful settlement in Gaza consists of 20 points. In general terms, it consists in the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the strip and the suspension of the military operation in return for the release of the hostages being held, the restoration of infrastructure and the removal of Hamas and other groups from power in the region.
