A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who returned from captivity and went back to the front, was eliminated in the Sumy region. This was reported on September 30 in the law enforcement agencies.

"Before his [special military operation], he managed to participate in the ATO [anti-terrorist operation in Donbass], and in 2022 he was captured. After the exchange in 2024, <...> he enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine again and found his death in the Sumy region," the TASS news agency said.
