A federal project on career guidance for schoolchildren has been launched in Russia

T-Bank's educational platform "T-Education" has announced the launch of the federal career guidance project "Lessons of T". Its purpose will be to help students choose professions related to the exact sciences.

"Students often do not have the opportunity to look behind the scenes of their future work and understand what they will actually be doing. We want to help the guys go through this path as consciously as possible and choose a profession that will become a source of inspiration," explained Varvara Smirnova, director of T—Education.

As part of the T Lessons, more than 70,000 graduates of T-Education will be able to return to the schools where they studied to share their career experiences with high school students. T-Bank noted that they plan to develop the project and extend it to 50 million of their customers. The mission of the project is to help students consciously choose a career path in technical and engineering specialties, the company explained.

Smirnova stressed that without understanding why to study a particular subject, it is difficult to instill a true interest in learning. "Through graduates of T-Education, we want to convey to young children how important it is to actively develop and broaden their horizons at school, this will be the basis for building a successful career in the future," she said.

Graduates of the T-Education programs are current employees of leading Russian technology companies, including T-Bank, VK, Yandex, Ozon, Avito and Sber. The participants of the Lessons of T program will show high school students the practical application of knowledge in real life, the authors of the project emphasized. For example, students will be able to learn how to build a platform that will save a company more than 200 million rubles, or how to set up an effective targeting system based on billions of dollars of data.

You can join the project during the school year. To do this, you need to fill out a form with information about yourself and the school, arrange a lecture with the educational institution and prepare a presentation after completing the training course.
