Russia is actively implementing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in various industries, including the military. This was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, during a speech at the Artificial Intelligence Day at the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

"The range of possibilities for where all this is being implemented in our country is very wide. Of course, this includes medicine, education, energy, manufacturing, and the weather. Security issues in the broadest sense of the word, military technology. Artificial intelligence is being used everywhere now," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to Medvedev, about 300 companies working in the field of AI are concentrated in Skolkovo, which creates a high potential for technology development and obtaining significant results. He also stressed the need for cooperation between all stakeholders and noted that artificial intelligence should be under human control.
