Izvestia newspaper topped the rating of Medialogia in August

In August, Izvestia newspaper once again confirmed its leadership among the print media in Russia. This is evidenced by the data of the Medialogia company.

By the end of July, the Izvestia citation index (CI) was 2,282.82. The newspaper Kommersant is in second place (CI: 1,599.20), and Rossiyskaya Gazeta is in third place (CI: 675.43).

"Izvestia reported that a large-scale reform of the public services system is planned in Russia, which involves combining disparate services into a single structure. Izvestia also reported, citing a RANEPA study, that 129 settlements could disappear in Russia," the report says.

When calculating the rating, Russian federal media were taken into account, as well as online resources that cover federal and regional events.
