Most of the children who lost contact with their families from the list that Kiev handed over to the Russian delegates at the talks in Istanbul turned out to be adults. This was announced on September 30 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Ukrainians handed over a list of 339 children. Most of them turned out to be adults, not children, and in no way related to being on the territory of the Russian Federation, most of them turned out to be not in Russia, but in Europe," he stressed.
