In Egypt, the groom died while dancing with the bride
In the Egyptian province of Aswan, the groom Ashraf Abu Hakam died during his own wedding. This was reported by the Gulf News newspaper.
"The tragedy occurred <...> in the province of Aswan, when the groom Ashraf Abu Hakam suddenly fell to the ground, holding his bride's hand while dancing," the publication says.
According to the newspaper, the guests tried to help the man, but all attempts to bring him to his senses were unsuccessful. Doctors later confirmed that the cause of death was sudden cardiac arrest.
"He was full of life, smiling, and excited about his future," the newspaper quoted one of the deceased's friends as saying.
Publication Ekskluziva.ba On September 23, it was reported that in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a 26-year-old girl fell into a coma and died a few days after the wedding. According to the newspaper, the wedding took place on September 13, but after it, the girl suddenly became ill. She was admitted to the hospital, where she spent two days in a coma and died.
