One person was killed and five injured in an accident in Dagestan

As a result of an accident in the Kizilyurt district of the Republic of Dagestan, one person was killed and five others were injured. This was announced on September 30 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

It is specified that on September 29, at about 21:00 Moscow time, on the Kizilyurt— Shamkhal—Yangi—Yurt highway, a 20-year-old local resident, driving a Lada Priora car, did not give way to vehicles moving in the opposite direction when turning left, and collided with a Lada-2107 car driven by a 19-year-old local resident.

"As a result of the accident, the 19-year-old passenger of the Lada-2107 was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The drivers of both vehicles, as well as two Lada-2107 passengers aged 18 and a 57-year—old Lada Priora passenger, were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity," the department's Telegram channel said.

Transporting the injured to the hospital does not release them from responsibility for leaving the scene of the accident.

The day before, 14 people were injured in a collision between two buses on Selkorovskaya Street in Yekaterinburg. The traffic police stressed that actions are currently being carried out to establish the causes and circumstances of the accident.
