A man drowned in a river in Yakutia

Rescuers have launched a search for a man who drowned in the Oymyakon district of Yakutia. This is reported by IA YakutiaMedia with reference to the Unified Duty and Dispatch Service of the municipality.

According to the missing man's son, on September 28, the man left the horse breeding base by water. He did not arrive at the meeting place. Later, fishermen reported seeing an overturned boat on the river. Relatives and local residents tried to find the man, but the search failed.

Four rescuers from the Yakutia Rescue Service were sent to the scene.

In the Pskov region, a 54-year-old man died while spearfishing.
