- Sergunina noted the international interest in the Digital Transformation Leaders competition
Applications for the annual Moscow competition "Leaders of Digital Transformation" have been accepted. About 11 thousand developers have registered for the hackathon, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"This year, applications for the competition have been received from all over Russia and from 26 other countries, including China, India, Belarus and Thailand," Sergunina said. She noted that the participants joined teams to develop projects. Their number has increased by one and a half times compared to last season, exceeding 1.3 thousand, Sergunina stressed.
The leaders in the number of registered Russian regions were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Primorsky Krai, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod and Sverdlovsk regions. The average age of award applicants is 25 years old. Most of them are students of the Russian Technological University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow Aviation University and other domestic universities.
The authors of the top 200 products will advance to the finals, where they will present their developments to experts. The winners in each category will receive one million rubles, and the second and third place winners will receive 600 thousand and 400 thousand rubles, respectively.
During the contest, it attracted over 51,000 people. The participants created 2.2 thousand promising solutions. In particular, one of last year's winners proposed a cost-effectiveness calculation system for entrepreneurs. The development has grown into a project that helps developers analyze the work of the sales department and increase conversions.
