The start of serial production of Atom electric vehicles in Russia is expected before the end of the year, and the cost of the car will be 3-4 million rubles. Anastasia Ivanenkova, head of the brand's PR department, told about this at the Innoprom International Industrial Exhibition. According to her, the number of pre-orders for the model has exceeded 105 thousand.

"But we are doing everything to make the cost affordable. Plus, we have about a million rubles of state subsidies for private entrepreneurs, about 925 thousand rubles," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying on September 29.

The Atom electric car was presented at Innoprom in Belarus, this is the first participation of the model in a foreign exhibition.

Earlier, on September 26, it was reported that the Russian Atom electric car had passed certification and received Vehicle Type Approval (OTT), which allows mass production and sales of the model to begin in Russia. The certificate includes two versions — the basic version and the taxi version, which is characterized by the absence of a front passenger seat.
