A social worker at a college in Arkhangelsk, who was attacked with a knife by an 18-year-old boy, was taken to the hospital in serious condition, and a teacher at the educational institution is also in the hospital with a stab wound. This was announced on September 29 by a source of Izvestia.
"[The teacher] was taken to <...> Arkhangelsk Regional Clinical Hospital, thoracic department, her condition is serious," the source said.
The Izvestia source added that doctors were operating on the woman.
In addition, the college teacher is in the Arkhangelsk city hospital, she has a knife wound in her upper arm. Doctors assess her condition as satisfactory, the source says.
Earlier that day, investigators reported that in Arkhangelsk, law enforcement officers detained an 18-year-old boy who stabbed two college workers. The injured women were hospitalized.
Later, a source from Izvestia reported that 18-year-old Artemy K., who attacked college workers in Arkhangelsk with a knife, could have been seeking revenge for his expulsion. It was noted that the young man purposefully went to his former class teacher, who, presumably, participated in the teacher's council on expulsion.
