In a new draft law, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation proposed to introduce benefits related to transport and land taxes for large families, participants in a special military operation (SVO) and their family members. This was announced on September 29 on the agency's website.
"The document proposes a number of provisions aimed at targeted assistance to families with children, as well as to participants of the CBO and their families. Thus, transport and land tax benefits are being established for the participants of the SVO and their family members," the report says.
According to the agency, parents with many children will be able to receive tax deductions for land tax and personal property tax. This benefit can be used not only by families with minor children, but also by families with disabled children, regardless of their age.
It is noted that the Ministry of Finance also proposed to exempt payments to employees of organizations, individual entrepreneurs, as well as persons undergoing military service in their military units from insurance premiums, regardless of the validity period of such a contract.
Earlier, on September 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that supporting families with children is a priority for Russia. According to him, it is the family that transmits traditions and is the main guardian of culture.
Later, on September 26, the Russian leader also stated that supporting the military and veterans of his military is a key task. He also expressed confidence in "continuing such work."
