The victims of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert Hall stated during the interrogation and during the judicial investigation that the terrorists communicated with each other in Arabic, and also talked on a mobile phone with an unknown woman. This was reported on September 29 by TASS with reference to a participant in the trial.

"According to one of the victims, whose testimony was read out in court, it follows that when the terrorists finished shooting in the hall and corridor of the Crocus, they exchanged a couple of phrases in Arabic. After that, the witness of the tragedy also heard, identifying by intonation, the voice of a woman who spoke to the two terrorists in Arabic," the agency quoted the source as saying.

The girl assumed that the militants were talking to this woman on the phone, as she did not see or hear anyone else was nearby at that moment.

According to the testimony of another victim, she had not heard Russian phrases from the terrorists. The girl's family purchased tickets to the Picnic concert in the VIP stalls, however, before reaching their seats, the girl and her mother were injured, and her father died in their presence. According to the victim, they passed through metal detectors, but "dressed in the uniform of female security officers" did not conduct an additional search.

The girl also said that she recognized the sounds of gunfire from movies. Most of the visitors ran to the auditorium after someone shouted about the need to go there.

"According to her, other visitors asked in loud whispers (including her and her mother) to close their mouths and pretend to be dead, so they were afraid to even move, and she only looked at the high black lace—up boots on the militants' feet," the participant in the trial clarified, referring to the girl's testimony read out in court.

In addition, the girl noted that the militants shot at the backs of people, and those who pretended to be dead were able to escape and leave the hall, which was set on fire by the terrorists.
