On September 28, former Moldovan president and leader of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon announced the victory of the opposition in the parliamentary elections in Moldova.

"The Action and Solidarity Party (PDS) lost these elections and currently does not have a parliamentary majority, while the opposition won," he said at a protest rally outside the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Moldova.
