The Kremlin announced Putin's upcoming major speech next week.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on September 28 that Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to make a major speech next week.

"There will be a fairly large speech by the president next week. We'll let you know what it is and exactly when and where. But it's going to be an interesting week," he said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin, a VGTRK journalist.

In addition, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation noted that during the week Putin is scheduled to have numerous working meetings in the Kremlin, as well as international contacts.
