In Berlin, more than 60,000 people demonstrated against the conflict in the Gaza Strip. This was reported on September 27 by the German newspaper Tagesschau.
"Under the slogan 'all attention to Gas,' tens of thousands of people demonstrated in Berlin. <...> There are obstacles to traffic in the city, and police are on duty with a large contingent," the article says.
According to the newspaper, the organizers of the demonstration spoke about more than 100 thousand people. However, the police estimated their number at about 60 thousand. At the same time, the police spokeswoman noted that the protests were peaceful, but there are records in the archives of arrests for property damage — activists painted their slogans on the streets.
Protests in New York in support of the residents of the Gaza Strip resumed on September 26 after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the UN General Assembly (GA). The footage was published by Izvestia on September 27. Journalist Evgenia Vlasova said that during his speech, the minister called for "finishing the job," which caused disagreement among those gathered at the meeting, some of whom chose to leave the hall without waiting for the report to be completed.
