The participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the G20 summit in South Africa is in the process of approval. Svetlana Lukash, Russia's sherpa at the G20, announced this on September 27.

"This issue is still being resolved. The Russian President pays great attention to the G20 summits and, I hope, will definitely take part in the Johannesburg summit," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
