Norway called the IOC cowards after the decision on the admission of Russians to the Olympics

Jan Petter Saltvedt, a journalist and commentator for the Norwegian NRK TV channel, criticized the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for avoiding making a decision on the admission of Russian athletes. His words were quoted by RIA Novosti on September 26.

Saltvedt called the IOC leadership cowards, saying that the committee had shifted responsibility for the fate of Russian athletes to international federations. The journalist also noted that the decision of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) remains uncertain.
