Seven people died as a result of poisoning with surrogate alcohol in the Leningrad region. This is reported by a source of Izvestia.

The incident occurred in the city of Slantsy. Two more people were taken to the hospital with severe intoxication.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Leningrad Region is conducting an inspection, and a criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
