HC Avangard lost to Traktor and ended its winning streak in the KHL.

Traktor Chelyabinsk Hockey Club (HC) defeated Avangard Omsk with a score of 5:1 in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season match. The meeting was held on September 25 in Chelyabinsk.

Forwards Alexander Rykov, Egor Korshkov, Joshua Livo and defenseman Grigory Dronov scored goals for Traktor. Defender Semyon Chistyakov scored a goal for Avangard.

Traktor scored 12 points in nine games and is in third place in the Eastern Conference. Avangard is in second place in the standings, having scored 12 points after eight games.

Avangard will play their next match on September 27 against Ufa's Salavat Yulaev, Traktor will face Spartak Moscow on September 30.
