A court in Chisinau has decided to limit the activities of the opposition party "The Heart of Moldova" for a period of 12 months. This was announced on September 25 by Newsmaker in its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the court restricted the activities of the Heart of Moldova party, as requested by the country's Ministry of Justice, until the case was considered on its merits.

The party's leader, Irina Vlah, called the decision a "blatant political order" and said it was part of a scenario by the authorities aimed at "silencing our team." Vlah also stressed that despite the blows that the party has received in recent weeks, they are not going to give up.

"For four weeks in a row, attacks were launched against us — vile, dirty, cynical. But if PAS is hoping to intimidate or break us, then they are deeply mistaken. The fight continues! The truth will surely come out — the truth about the PAS schemes, about their dirty methods and accomplices. Everyone who carried out the criminal orders of the yellow ones will answer according to the law," she wrote in her Telegram channel.

Chisinau is counting on the help of the pro-Western diaspora and is increasing pressure on the opposition.

On September 2, the leader of the Republican party "Heart of Moldova" and the former head of Gagauzia, Irina Vlah, reported that police officers had raided the party's activists. According to her, the purpose of these events is to intimidate and discredit the party. Vlah added that, despite the difficulties, the "Heart of Moldova" will continue to "fight the yellow regime until it is removed from power."

On September 5, the leader of the Victory bloc, Ilan Shor, stated that he sees defeating Sandu as the main goal in future parliamentary elections. According to him, fair early elections will need to be held after its "demolition."

Later, on September 7, Shor noted that the searches of the opposition in Moldova were part of a "national hunt" by the current regime. According to Shor, the regime of the current President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, is in "agony" because it understands that it is losing power. He added that the local authorities would do everything possible and impossible to "intimidate" the opposition.
