In a few weeks, the Popular Front will hand over to Sakhalin military personnel an upgraded UAZ SUV, which will be prepared by Chinese-born Chu Wencheng and Korean Pavel Ri, head of the Tornado sports club, at one of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk auto repair shops. This was reported to Izvestia on September 25.

"These are guys, mechanics, who are very good at this, especially in UAZ trucks. So they went out to buy directly. They reviewed all this and said that the condition is really good," said Pavel Ri.

The car will undergo a comprehensive upgrade, including increased ground clearance, the installation of power steering, new optics and additional headlights. The body and interior of the loaf will also be completely painted.
