More than 70% of social institutions have been connected to heating in the Moscow region

In the Moscow region, all social facilities were connected to heating in 23 districts. In general, 72% of social institutions provided warmth. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Energy.

The online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya clarifies that the work on connecting social facilities has been almost completely completed in Shchelkovo, Balashikha, Kolomna, Kashira, Lyubertsy, Naro-Fominsk and Korolev.

Heat began to be supplied to residential buildings. So, heating is available in all Shakhovskaya houses, in some areas of Pushkino and Orekhovo-Zuyevo. The main stage of connecting multi-family residential buildings starts this week.

The decision to start the heat is made after the average daily air temperature drops below +8 degrees Celsius for five consecutive days. But if the temperature drops sharply, the heating may be turned on ahead of schedule, according to the website of the mayor of Moscow.

In the capital, the heating season is controlled by the Moscow United Energy Company (MOEK) and other heat suppliers. In previous years, Moscow heating was turned on in approximately the same time range — from the middle to the end of September.
