A woman died as a result of a bear attack in the Leninsky district of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. This was announced on September 25 by the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.

"The tragic news came from the regional hospital. The woman who was attacked by a bear on the morning of September 25 could not be saved. She suffered life—threatening injuries," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

It is specified that the patient was taken to the intensive care unit with scalped wounds and a hand injury. The Ministry expressed its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

Investigators have already opened a case on violation of labor protection requirements, which resulted in serious harm to health.

A source from Izvestia reported on September 17 that a wolf attacked an eight-year-old boy in the Rostov region. It was clarified that the animal was kept in an aviary at the home of the victim's classmate, to whom he came to visit. The minor's mother, Anna Belyaeva, clarified that her son was hospitalized in a medical facility with multiple wounds, and she herself did not receive an apology from the neighbors.
