The world order established after the so-called cold war has ended, and it takes time to establish a new one, the nature of which is still unclear. This was announced on September 24 by Finnish President Alexander Stubb at a meeting of the UN General Assembly (GA).

"The post—Cold War order is a thing of the past, but we don't yet know what the new order will look like," he said during his speech.

Stubb stressed that it would take from five to 10 years for the "dust" from the collapse of the old routine, which takes place during a period of changing dynamics, to settle.

On June 21, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, responding to a question from Izvestia on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025), noted that multipolarity is developing in the world. According to her, Russia and the People's Republic of China (PRC) are active players on the world stage.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
